Marianna, Care Team Leader

My name is Marianna and I have newly taken the position of Care Team Leader at Baycroft Flitwick.

I worked previously as a Team Leader in Wales and I am excited to start my new journey here.

The whole team and the residents were so welcoming, and I am looking forward to being part of their daily lives and supporting the staff and residents.

I am proud to lead the team of care professionals and support them to provide the best possible care for our residents.

I am also here to support them, encourage a positive work-life balance so that they can give the best of themselves.

Bernie Hoo-Hing, Bank Activities Coordinator

Employed since 2019.

My name is Bernie and I have worked at Baycroft since it opened.

My current role is the Activities Co-ordinator where I have the pleasure of keeping the residents active, involved and above all happy.

I love my job as I find it very rewarding being able to lighten up a resident’s day.

Talking to a resident not only keeps them engaged but also helps me understand their needs, likes and dislikes.

Kelly Pearson, Receptionist

I’ve just joined Baycroft in the receptionist role and I can only say that everyone has been so welcoming and helpful.

I’m really looking forward to spending time with and getting to know the residents.

For me being a receptionist is the first person people meet when they come to the home and I look forward to being a friendly face and building a relationship with the staff, residents and their families.

Danielle Hoo-Hing, Home Administrator

Employed since 2020.

My name is Danielle and I am the Home Administrator at Baycroft Flitwick.

After working in the theatre industry for over 6 years, I was given the opportunity for a change in career and joined the wonderful team here at Flitwick.

Being the Home Administrator allows me to have a close working relationship with not only the staff but the relatives, residents, and the wider community.

Since starting here I can honestly say that there is no other job that has been quite as rewarding, which has been made even better by the kind and caring team I work alongside.

Nicola Rich, Receptionist

Employed since 2019.

Hi I’m Nikki and I’ve been a receptionist at Baycroft Flitwick for the last 2 years.

I feel privileged to be the first face to greet the relatives when they come to visit their loved ones.

My job gives me the freedom to participate in activities with residents, whether it be a game of scrabble or just having a chat over a cuppa.

I love being part of the team here at Flitwick and look forward to many years to come.

Kayleigh Urban, Care Manager

Employed since 2019.

My name is Kayleigh and I am the Care Manager at Flitwick. I have worked in care for over 7 years and have been at Flitwick since it’s opening.

I’m grateful for the opportunities and experience Baycroft has given me after starting here as a Senior Care Assistant and progressing into my current role within the management team.

We have a great team of staff here who I am proud to work alongside, who feel like more than just a team but an extension of family to the residents living in the home.

It’s a pleasure to work for Baycroft and I’m looking forward to a long future with the company and the team.

Ruby, Laundry assistant

My name is Ruby and I have worked at Baycroft Flitwick since 2019.

I first started out as a Care Assistant, then Hostess and now work as a Laundry Assistant.

Working across these roles has helped me to understand the different aspects that are needed to ensure the residents have exactly what they need to live their daily lives.

I love getting to know each and every one of the residents and helping them with their daily activities in whatever way I can.

It’s lovely to be a part of such a friendly, welcoming group of staff and I’m proud to be a member of the Baycroft team!

Hi, I'm Chloe.

I have worked at Baycroft as a carer for over 2 years now.

There’s nothing I love more than putting smiles on our lovely residents faces.

It’s a privilege to be able to help them in their day-to-day life.

I won 1st place in our internal Customer Service Awards, out of 93 people nominated across the company, which I'm extremely proud of.

I am Fiona I am one the carers at Baycroft Flitwick.

I have done care for 15 years in different care home and joined Flitwick recently.

I love being a carer and bringing joy to the residents lives.

My name is Joy, I have recently joined Baycroft Flitwick as a care assistant and I have been welcomed into the team and working with wonderful residents.

I like to help people and find satisfaction in seeing the residents happy and living the best life they can in the home.

I look forward to developing in my role with the support available to staff as I always give my best at all times and want to give the best to the residents.

I have worked at Baycroft Flitwick as a Health Care Assistant since the opening in 2019.

I’m so proud to be a member of staff, as my colleagues are very supportive and the residents are lovely.

I consider Baycroft my second home.

Employed since 2019.

My name is Kat and I have been a host here at Baycroft for nearly 2 years.

I love working with the wonderful residents we have here and supporting them to maintain an independent lifestyle.

I am currently working towards my Level 3 in Leadership and Management with hopes to progressing within the company.

It’s great to be a part of such an enthusiastic and caring team here at Baycroft Flitwick.
